Paramus Middle School Principal: Social Media Post That Brought Police 'No Cause For Concern'

UPDATE: A social media post that brought Paramus police to a borough middle school on Monday turned out harmless, according to the principal.

"The school day began as usual, everything is fine, and your children are safe,” the principal wrote.

“The police were made aware of something that was posted and deemed inappropriate on a student’s social media account,” East Brook Middle School Principal Thomas J. LoBue wrote to parents.

“After conducting their investigation, we were told that there was no cause for concern,” LoBue said. “The police were here at East Brook to brief us and make us aware of their findings.

“Please know that the school day began as usual, everything is fine, and your children are safe,” he added.
